Commercial Outdoor Furniture Warranty: What to Confirm Before Ordering

Compare the written terms for your selected model and project—not a headline number of years. Use this checklist to clarify coverage, responsibilities and after-sales evidence before placing an order.

What is SOLAIREVA's warranty policy?

Warranty terms depend on the specific model and the written contract. No single warranty period applies to all SOLAIREVA products. Confirm the covered components, duration, starting date, intended use and exclusions for your order. This is the company policy confirmed by the business owner; this guide does not add a separate warranty or promise a particular claim outcome.

Send the model numbers, quantities, destination and installation environment with your quote request. Ask for the applicable terms before approving the order. For an existing purchase, use the terms supplied with that order and contact our warranty and after-sales team.

Component-by-component coverage checklist

The table below lists questions to resolve. It is not a schedule of automatic coverage or exclusions, and it does not assign industry-standard warranty years.

ComponentAsk what is coveredAsk what evidence is needed
Frame and jointsWhich structural issues, uses and load conditions fall within the written terms?Model, affected quantity, joint/assembly photos and installation context
Coating and finishHow are adhesion issues, color change, scratches and environmental exposure treated?Finish/color reference, close-up and wider photos, cleaning and exposure history
Rattan, rope or webbingHow are breakage, loosening, attachment issues and appearance changes assessed?Material reference and photos showing the affected area and its attachment
Fabric and cushionsAre seams, closures, fabric and foam assessed separately? Are any third-party fabric terms relevant?Fabric/color code, affected cover or filling, usage and care details
Hardware and moving partsWhat are the inspection, adjustment, replacement and maintenance requirements?Part identification, assembly details and a description of the problem
Tabletop and other accessoriesAre these included in the same terms or covered separately?Component reference, photos and when the issue was first noticed

Component coverage is decided at the inspection bench: weld, coating thickness, foam density and frame wall are the records a warranty claim is checked against.

Seven points to settle in writing

  1. Scope: list the exact models, components, materials and finishes. Do not assume one product's terms cover a customized version.
  2. Use: describe the commercial installation, frequency of use, coastal or pool exposure, storage and maintenance. Ask whether the proposed terms cover that use.
  3. Dates: confirm when coverage begins, how duration is measured and when an issue must be reported. Do not assume the shipping, invoice and delivery dates are interchangeable.
  4. Exclusions and care: obtain the actual wording and care instructions. Ask how wear, weathering, cleaning, modification and installation are assessed; do not infer automatic acceptance or rejection.
  5. Remedy: clarify the review process and possible repair, part replacement, unit replacement or other agreed remedy. A claim submission is not an approval.
  6. Costs: identify responsibility for freight, handling, duties, labor and installation associated with an approved remedy. Do not assume “replacement” means all costs are included.
  7. Timing and continuity: ask for a case-specific review schedule, replacement availability and options if a finish or component is discontinued. Do not plan operations around an unconfirmed turnaround.

A written claim path matters most on the pieces that see daily guest use, because that is where cushions, covers and coating fail first.

Prepare an after-sales review package

  • Purchase order or invoice reference and the applicable written warranty.
  • Model/SKU, affected quantities and any available batch or part identifiers.
  • Date received, date the issue was first observed and a clear description of what happened.
  • Photos of the complete item and close-ups of the affected area; a short video if useful.
  • Installation environment, assembly information, cleaning and maintenance history.
  • Whether transport damage was observed and what delivery documentation is available.

Ask the team how to share order documents securely. Avoid including unrelated personal information. Keep the original evidence; ask for instructions before changing or repairing the affected component. If a unit may be unsafe, take it out of use pending assessment.

Transport damage and product issues may involve different processes. Record visible damage promptly and contact the relevant supplier or carrier to clarify the applicable procedure and deadlines; this guide does not determine responsibility.

Questions buyers often ask

Does a longer advertised warranty mean better coverage?

Not by itself. Compare the same components, intended use, exclusions, remedy and associated costs. Use the actual written terms rather than assuming a longer headline period covers everything.

Does a UV or salt-spray test establish a warranty?

No. A test report describes a tested sample and method; the written warranty describes the commercial commitment. Review both separately. Our UV evidence checklist explains how to compare material-specific reports.

Can a customized product use the same terms as a standard model?

Ask for confirmation for the final specification. Changes to materials, assembly, finish or intended use should be reviewed with the OEM / ODM brief.

How quickly will an issue be resolved?

That depends on the review, remedy, parts and transport arrangements. Request a written case-specific schedule; no universal approval or replacement timeframe is promised here.
